Congratulations to Synthasite on their $5 million in funding announced as well on their blog. Vinny Lingham has put together an impressive team and we look forward to seeing continuing innovations coming from them. There is a large potential market out there for “long tail enablers” that include website management and creation tools, that will increasingly link into ad monetization schemes… and the next generation of advertising networks is likely to emerge over the next 12-18 months from the confluence of these new players. Especially with Synthasite’s strong background in affiliate marketing, we’ll see if and how Synthasite grows and contributes to progress in this area.
